Over the years of experience Nectar have number of successfully operating installations in the industries viz iron & steel plants, pellet plants, sinter plants, boiler fly ash, clinker coolers, etc. The design is simple but effective for collecting variety of dust particles in wide range of applications. Each system is custom engineered to provide the most efficient dust removal.

Special alloy Collecting Cells & Spinners are available for high temperature and/or severe erosion applications.

The most essential component in Multicyclone / Multiclone is the cell assembly which consists of Spinner, Collecting Cell & Clean gas exhaust tube. The Collecting Cells are designed such that by aero-dynamics a relatively lower or negative pressure is created in the dust collection hopper compared to the inlet of the clean gas exhaust tubes; so that the collecting cells are always under suction from the hopper effecting free fall of collected dust in hopper & effectively minimizing short circuiting between variably loaded cells. False air flow through the hopper is also greatly reduced.

Single Hopper

Single hopper Multicyclones / Multiclones are offered for wide range of applications to achieve high dust particle collection efficiency at lower pressure drop. Single hopper construction is used for handling relatively smaller gas volumes. Dust particle collection efficiency & pressure drop are subject to inlet dust laden air or gas volume / inlet velocity (should be constant as much as possible i.e. working at full design load), Specific gravity of dust, inlet dust load, particle size distribution, Operating temperature (should be constant as much as possible), Bulk density of dust, dust physical & chemical characteristics.

Common applications are in the industries viz iron & steel plants, pellet plants, sinter plants, boiler fly ash, clinker coolers, etc.


Single Hopper Multicyclones / Multiclones are generally supplied with following features:

Twin or Multiple Hoppers

Twin or Multiple hoppers Multicyclones / Multiclones are offered for wide range of applications to achieve high dust particle collection efficiency at lower pressure drop. Twin or Multiple hopper construction is used for handling higher gas volumes & to reduce overall height of the installation. Dust particle collection efficiency & pressure drop are subject to inlet dust laden air or gas volume / inlet velocity (should be constant as much as possible i.e. working at full design load), Specific gravity of dust, inlet dust load, particle size distribution, Operating temperature (should be constant as much as possible), Bulk density of dust, dust physical & chemical characteristics.
